Class One
British Dressage Introductory A (2008) Walk and Trot only
For horse and rider combinations who have not been placed in a dressage class.

Class Two
British Dressage Preliminary 1 (2006)
For horse and rider combinations who have not won a dressage class.

Class Three
British Dressage Preliminary 14 (2006)

Class Four
British Dressage Novice 28 (2008)

Class Five
British Dressage Novice 32 (2002)

The first six in each class (disregarding those already qualified) will qualify for respective championships at the July show. Finals will be supported with prizes in kind and full report and pictures to appear in Equine Canine and Country Life magazine August 2008. Rosette for highest placed Wessex Riding Club member in each class (please state on entry if member). . The rosettes will go to sixth place and there will be a free subscription to Equine Canine and Country Life for all 1st - 3rd placings.

Entry fees: £10 per class. Entries close on the Tuesday before the competition. Please send email address in for times or if you don't have one telephone 07779 716 826 on Friday before between 2pm - 4pm for times.

Please make cheques payable to Equine Canine and Country Life and send entries in (with a SAE for schedule for championship show) to Secretary, Westside, Bow Farm, Badgworth, Somerset. BS26 2QA. Payment can also be taken by credit/debit card accompanied by an email entry or over the telephone (see numbers below).

Dressage Competition Another Success

The dressage competition held at the Mendip Stud on January 27th was another success with the weather staying dry and competitors enjoying themselves. The parking was a little bit touch and go and a big thank you to John (Calder) for organising it so efficiently. I think there was all of about 3 inches of parking space left at the end of the day.
