Western Riding Lessons
 Let’s get you started

Lessons in Western Riding are available on our own Western Trained Quarter Horses. Lessons are available subject to availability and status with our own resident professional W.E.S. (Western Equestrian Society) approved instructor Lisa John.

Prior to coming to the West Country Lisa has been working in the industry for the last 8 years, including a 4 year apprenticeship with leading trainer and instructor Sussannah Anderson.

Booked by the hour - based upon an individual needs
   ●   Private 1hour lesson - £37.50 on own horse
          add £10 for use of TMS horse

   ●   Shared 1 hour lesson £27.50
          add £10 for use of TMS horse

The above lessons can be booked direct with Lisa via email or through the office

Full western experience day
   ●   Covering all aspects of the western riding ways. Up to 4 hrs riding, 2 course lunch
   ●   £150 including lunch, horses and completion certificate.

Half western experience day
   ●   As above but only 2 hrs of riding.
   ●   £99 per person, including horses and completion certificate
   ●   Lunch available by pre arrangement @ £10.00 per person.

Ground work, round pen and handling tuition
   ●   Available at £35 per hour private or £27.50 per hour each for a shared session.

2-hour demonstration evenings
   ●   Available upon request for groups of 6 or more. Includes an introduction to the different types of western competition
         horses and their training needs. A tea and coffee break followed by the opportunity to sit on one of our lesson horses
         and have a go yourself.
   ●   Evening demonstration is £15 per head with at least 6 participants.
   ●   Price concessions for parties of over 10 available.
