Lee Rutter

Lee is resident Trainer at OAKRIDGE QUARTER HORSES based in Nottinghamshire. 

A well-respected and popular trainer, Lee heads the team in starting, training and showing not only Oakridge stock but also clients horses in for training.  Lee is also a WES approved instructor and provides excellent tuition for riders of all levels of ability.  He brings with him a wealth of experience in all disciplines, being involved in western riding for over 12 years and having represented Great Britain in cutting (bringing home the Gold Medal) and finishing in the top ten in reining and western riding.  

Lee has produced the only second British- bred horse to be an AQHA champion and his clients are reaping the rewards with multiple championship wins in 2005 including Amateur Champion hunter under saddle, reserve hunt seat equitation and Novice Amateur Championship wins in western horsemanship, hunt seat, hunter under saddle and reserve championships in showmanship and western pleasure.  2006 promises to be even more challenging as Lee undertakes training and showing internationally as well as coaching and showing in the UK.
