Facilities at The Mendip Stud - Western Riding, Training & Breeding


	New Arena (60mx30m)	AI Laboratory	Stables in Main Barn
		The Mendip Stud is based at Bow Farm on the beautiful Somerset levels, not far from Cheddar Gorge. At the farm we cut and make our own hay, haylage this year too. The land is cross grazed with a flock of 300 sheep. Hedges and rhynes are maintained in traditional Somerset styles by skilled local tradesmen.

	Our purpose built equine breeding and training facility has been added to this beautiful West Country backdrop and we are pleased to offer our customer facilities that include an arena, round pen, turn out paddocks, open field schooling areas, mini-gallops, mobile field shelters. In conjunction with these outdoor facilities we have equipped the main barn with large stallion boxes, heated and dedicated foaling boxes, radian lamps, CCTV and a American style breeding barn with its attendant laboratory.
		Our new arena is now completed and in use. In addition we will be expanding our facilities even further with a new horse walker, outdoor mobile foal pens and equine solariums. We’ll keep you posted on the progress and installation of these new facilities and equipment.
