Western Experience Days

Treat yourself, friend or family member to a full or half days Western Riding Experience. Ideal for those interested in trying the sport this a perfect gift or day out for the equine enthusiast. Beginners and novices welcome.

An action packed day for the horse lover designed to introduce you to the fastest growing equine sport in Europe.

● Enjoy a full days Western Riding Experience for just £150.

● Presentation voucher supplied in gold envelope
   valid for 12 months.

● Around 3-4 hours in the saddle split between morning
   and afternoon sessions.

● Coffee or tea on arrival and two course gourmet lunch
    followed by coffee and biscuits before you leave together
    with presentation of your completion certificate.

•    Coffee or tea on arrival – served with a safety talk and western tack familiarisation.

•    Morning session – getting used the western way. Approx 2 hours.

•    Two course gourmet lunch followed by a 45 mins DVD viewing of world-class western riders - Italian coffee to finish.

•    Afternoon session – recap on mornings activity followed by an arena based trail course – more tips and
     techniques followed by a “lets see what you’ve learned” test.

•    Back to the barn for coffee and biscuits and to be presented with your completion certificate before you get under way.

Set at the foot of the beautiful Mendip hills the Mendip Stud offers its customers the chance to try out and experience the fastest growing equestrian sport in Europe.

•    All horses are western trained Quarter Horses and riding takes place in the safe environment of our arena.

•    Luxury farmhouse accommodation is available on site with a 10% discount for those participating in an Experience Day.

Vouchers are valid for 12 months from date of issue. Vouchers once purchased are non refundable. Bad weather does not constitute a reason for refund – we will arrange alternative dates with you and if necessary extend the voucher validity period to accommodate new dates.
