Wednesday - well early Thursday.
Baaaaaaaaaaaa
One of those days you wish you hadn't started at times but then when you've finished you reflect on the things that happened and what you had got done.
Lisa returned from Paris a little less than happy with Air France but safe and sound and in the end that's all that matters.
Malcolm and Elaine came to stay - had a great time - Malcolm watched his first AI and then ate curry whilst watching the rugby.
Josie is in foal as is Chip and we are doing our best to get Sadie under way with Revenge. Ren lounged like a man possessed. Dylan giggled - and Ziggy had a day off. Barbie wanted to know where Penny had gone.
Mark helped get the show office into place and prepared the Arena for the show.
Dean was Dean as usual.......Lou had a great day in the breed barn.
Chilli gets to be freeze tested tomorrow.
Thoughts too for Sarah in naming her new colt JC in honour of John Coleman a good neighbour and friend who sadly lost his fight with bone cancer in November last year. 'm sure JC will do him proud. Great idea Sarah :)
long day ahead - and I'm already up just about to start.
Have a good'un all

What a busy day had by all! Looking forward to getting down again soon - it's so frustrating being a few miles up the road and yet unable to visit. I will be there Sunday for the show, if not before
Hi John
Just a note to say thank you very very much for a great week-end. I still can not believe I own such a fabulous horse. Being fought over by Twiggy and Venus for a hug was just the best thing and watching Sarah work with Chilli was inspiring, Just goes to the bond you can achieve with a horse.Dean and Dom made me tea virtually every time I walked into the barn. Ludo is great fun no matter how fed up you are!It was just what I needed. Thank you also to you and Lou for everything. I could go on .... Mendip therapy REALLY is the perfect break. Oz and Rose were shattered by the time we got home.
See you at the week end
Penny x
Hi John, first test run on posting a comment - if it works then anyone can do it. Had a great visit on Sunday as usual, Chilli looks fantastic, credit to all at Mendip who look after him,I would not hesitate in recommending your stud to anyone who has a four legged creature. They are all treated the same - as individuals. Chilli did ask me if it is possible to have a pillow next time he falls asleep on the dummy! Can't wait to see my little palo colt again this weekend,he is a real stunner and so is your Barbie Penny. Still don't know how John and lou manage to run the stud and the cottages so well with so few staff. Great to see Chris Keable again - He was so patient with Chilli when he was a baby. Hope Lisa has gotten over her flight. See you all soon x
great to have so many comments - please keep them coming - thanks John
